San Telmo Corner

Oil on Canvas, 18" x 14"

January, 2006 1.5 hours.

A building at the corner of Chile and Peru street's in Buenos Aires' pretty San Telmo neighborhood. San Telmo is the birthplace of tango and, by extension, the birthplace of very large tango + dinner restaurants that prey on tourists. There's a nearby Sunday antiques market full of interesting loot. The store with the blue sign is a fruit-centric supermarket.
