Still Life With Armchair

Oil on Canvas, 22" x 16"

June, 2004

One of two paintings I did in 2004 as an experiment to see whether I remembered how to paint. Notable is the Mao Tse Tung alarm clock, likely to figure in a future still life, and the now-defunct catnip sausage below the little table, a source of much happiness to the cats I lived with in Vermont before it was finally groomed to death.
