Leith Walk at Night
Oil on Canvasboard, 12" x 9"
August, 1997
Leith Walk is a large street that connects downtown Edinburgh with the working-class district and port of Leith on the Firth of Forth to the North.
This was my first night painting, a fun experiment despite the guy in a snack shop at my back (coincidentally home to the worst pizza in the world) who insisted on driving me crazy with a laser pointer.
