The Underground Kingdom

Longtime readers will remember I've been helping translate a wonderful 1930 Soviet comic novel called The Golden Calf. After a six-month hiatus I've put up a first draft of the fifth chapter, "The Underground Kingdom", where we witness the triumph of the entrepreneurial spirit over everything that is good and pure in the young Soviet state.
